Subject: I'm worried about heat but the rain got me

Twice

Out in a monsoon (actually made it to CVS Pharmacy) on Friday about 9:30 am and woke up to water in the basement Saturday AM.

Record one day rainfall 6.8 inches at O'Hare. Every time we have a heavy rain mom turtle asks if we got any water and for the past 24 years the answer has been no. This morning she didn't ask!

Wet carpet is heavy.
