 The stud halted behind her then relizing that he had left his mate ungarded sped past the annoying two legger, placing a harsh nip on her to persuade her to go away. He halted at his mates side and placed a gentle lick on her cheek, he was rewarded by a soft nicker. Malakeh closed her dark pools as another contraction racked her body. The foal was starting to come out. Ashquar stood guard,

The dark mare lay on the ground. The labor lasted several painful hours for both horses. The foal was born soon after, a Dark chestnut filly. Malakeh got up with a grunt and went over to lick the new member of the herd. Ashquar slowly approched the mare, his head lowered, as if asking if he could approch. Once accepted, he placed a soft nuzzle on the mares neck.
