 The paint evaded flying back hooves of the other, but he felt the daggers of the other make contact with his shoulder, once again bringng his battered bodt painfully to the ground. The crimson liquid had stained his black and white pelt. Both wounds, one on his hindquarters and the now on his shoulders, hurt beyond belif. But he couldnt give up. He wasnt just going to hand over his mare. He got up slowly, standing his large dial hung down, a pitiful sight he was. But he wanted no ones pity. He lashed out again at the arab stud.

The grey was lookng on, she hoped her stallion would come out victorious. But it was one in a thousand, he was in bad shape. Why couldnt he have taken her advice when she said for them to hide till he was strong again. When he hit the ground a second time she looked away, the pain to great. Deep inside she wished he would give up so he wouldnt be killed...
