I am not a very experienced cook...lol

It called for "big" roasting chicken. I found a huge one...not sure how much it weighs but it was over 8 bucks :)

Anyway it's been cooking for a couple of hours and I just don't have enough juices to baste with, and the recipe says to baste every 20 min.

Should I just take some olive oil and brush it over the skin? I wonder why I'm not getting much juice?
