Its been mentioned several times by his early intervention providers but hasnt been implemented yet. I think it sounds like something that is worth giving a try.
BTW, I really appreciate your 2cents. There was no handbook given to me on raising a little guy with autism. I read everything I can get my hands on talk to anybody that has been or is going through it.
It can be so frustrating to me because hes high functioning. Some days he looks so good and other days hes farther along the spectrum. I wish I knew what it was that made him fluctuate like that.
He has been identified as being hyperlexic. Every now and then he'll surprise us with his reading, spelling and literacy abilities. I would love to know how to foster that as well.
