Lord, may Your peace descend upon this couple. I can only use the words of another prayer by Francis of Assisi.
Lord, in Your Name
where there is hatred, bring love;
where there is wrong, bring the spirit of forgiveness;
where there is discord, bring harmony;
where there is error, bring truth;
where there is doubt, bring faith;
where there is despair, bring hope;
where there are shadows bring light;
where there is sadness, bring joy.
It is by forgiving that one is forgiven.
I lift up my brother and sister to You. May they find the true path to happiness and be content, sharing the love that You have given us. Amen
