When our forefathers drew up the constitution, it was: "of the people, by the people and for the people". What happened? Today it is of the corporations: "by the corporations and for the corporations." Every November election is the only day that we citizens of the United States are asked to vote for the canidates that are running for elected office. They promise us this and that if they get elected to office, but then what happens. They line their pockets with pac money and such. When Congress was originated, way back when, they recieved no pay, only reembursement for expenses while in session. That has changed in the last two hundred years. The money that is spent on both sides (democrat & republican) would be better spent on other thing. One comment that President Bush made back in the summer, was that the North Korean dictator lets his people starve, Well Mr. Bush take a look around you, what about all the children in Applichia who are starveing while you sit in your lavish surroundings in Washington. We have starveing people too. That three hundred and some dollars that you gave the people last January, where did the money go, not in their pockets, Higher gas prices, higher milk prices, higher food prices and lets not forget, that prescription drugs went up three times since then. What happened was that the treasurery was robed to pay out to the corporations useing the United States citizens and workers as the middle man. It won't belong till we are all working in company towns, living in company shacks and buying at company stores, like the days of old. I think we should have welcome signs at our borders that Read: Welcome to the United States of America, Owned and Opperated by Corporations.
