Subject: Not a day care provider but need some insight,opinions and advice

Iam a domestic goddess,lol,happy at home hanging out with my children,my animals my family!:)

My days consist of me at home or the park,beach and stores tending to the up keep of my family,home,animals and garden.

I have been watching my neighbors 12 month old a few hours here and there for her while she interviews for the perfect par-time job for herself.Well,today she has found exatly what she is looking for and asked me to sit her little one while she works three days a week for about 9-10 hours a day.I told her i would enjoy spending time with her daughter,she is a good girl and my 2 children who are not in school yet enjoy her also.I am not sure how i feel about three days? One of those days she needs me i am at my boys school volunteering which means i do have to change my schedule for watching this little girl which Iam not sure iam willing to do.She also did not mention money to me,I am not desperate for the money by any means however I feel that if Iam responsible for this child she may need to pay me?

How do i begin to approach this with my neighbor?I am not sure if and where to start.Iam the neighborhood mom ALL the kids are always at my house.*ROLLING EYES*BUTT!!!I dont want to be everyones permanent sitter.

I know this family is struggeling finacially rigtht now, but child care is a very serious issue imo,my children are my greatest acomplishment,I would not let just anyone care for there needs,wants and hopes,dont most parents feel this way?

Iam having a hard time feeling this out since i have not had to go out of my home to work to make money to run my household so i have not been in the business world for a time *sigh*!I do breed animals and tend a farm but that is a different buisness, if Iam going to provide care for anothers child i feel i should earn a small living doing so???HELP!
