... the blues channel is so good i don't even care that i haven't even listened much to Howard (or the gospel, or all elvis or stones, and i must say an all-Dead channel seems conspicuous in its absense or, say, the standup comedy channels) yet.

my big regret is not doing this any number of months ago and if you're even contempting it, DO IT!- i went the "lifetime" (of 4 receivers in total) for 600 bucks and if somebody were to tip me even $1 extra on the 150 days i work a year because i got thee jams it easily pays for itelf! commercial FM is even more crap than i already knew it was, plus you got the tivo-esque capability to replay & fastworward with the better receivers. Hang Tough by Allen Toussaint (from a Crescent City Gold benefit compilation) and You Lookin' for Me? by Buckwheat Zydeco are my current faves from the rotation and now joined by Drive-by Love by John "Juke" neverhearofbefore from the first through 8th times heard last night (thanks to replay feature).
