Apologize for my scarce appearances these days, life has been crazy...

Anyways, I just got the Sirius myself, as it came pre-installed with a 1-year prepaid contract in my brand-spankin' new 2006 Jeep Commander Limited, with a "hemi" and all... It's the new big three-rows-of-seats retro-boxy lookin' Jeep you see on the commercials now and then. And let me tell you, I treated myself with this and I love it.

But the Sirius - well, it's ok, a good idea in theory. I like XM better (it's on my DirecTV), as the music channels play more music. Sirius doesn't have (many) commercials, but they seem to have DJs who won't shut the fuck up and play a song, just like the ass-clowns on free radio.

So where've I been? Playin in a rock and roll band, which I never thought would actually last this long -we're closin' in on a year together, and playing nearly every weekend and practicing usually once a week to boot. You know what? I think we're pretty good. And so do a lot of other people, though they're usually drunk as skunks.

Oh, and I may or may not have a girlfriend. She's a cutie who waits tables at my neighborhood bar... I got to like seein' her now and then so much that I was showin' up pretty much every night she worked, and the night I finally decided I had enough marbles to ask her out, she actually opened the door, saying "we only hang out when I'm workin, that's no fun for me..." So now we've been out mebbe 1/2-dozen times over the last couple of months, and I kinda like her. As per usual, she's about a lifetime younger than me (26, which is actually older than the last woman in my life), so she's young enough that she could decide in 5 minutes that she's bored with me... but it's goin' all right so far!

And she's fuckin' hot, with nice boobies.
