how is that going for you? i have never messed with one. i'm a bit curious as to what would drive you to the bass versus a regular guitar. the bass strikes me as something being entertaining as part of a band, but just sitting around the house playing doesn't strike me as being too much fun. any particular reason you chose the bass?

i'm a guitar guy myself, but i still suck. i've totally hit a wall with it. i've got the major chords down pretty well, and i fumble my way through a ton of songs, but for the life of me i cannot get my right hand to work. in my head i hear rhythm and i know what it's supposed to sound like, but i can't get my right hand to follow through. most of the songs i play are done with the same two or three different strum patterns i crash and bang my way through.

i kind of equate my guitar playing with me trying to play foos (sp?) ball. i gave that game up a long time ago after someone asked what hand i beat off with. they then recommended me trying it with my left hand because i fucking sucked. that stung.
