but it does sure sound like you ran a helluva campaign. It sounds like your brother is a good guy and I hope it doesn't discourage him from shooting for other targets...or revisiting this one.

My dad ran for county prosecutor also...back in 1976. He was a young 29 year old lawyer challenging a corrupt incumbent...with no real chance to win. He ran a strong campaign and had some nasty attacks come his way late...and he lost. But it was close. It brought him some notice and when a judgeship opened up within the next year, he got appointed to fill the balance of the term. Things went well from there...

Anyway...sounds like you and your brother just ran a similar campaign. The two of you should keep fighting for your county and good things will happen.
