so far so good. She's been through 6 of her 8 chemo therapies. The first four were really rough for her but the second four is a different witches brew, and while not pleasant, seems to be much less invasive on her body.

She'll end the chemo in December and is scheduled for surgery in January, followed by radiation. I really admire her attitude toward this. Every time, I'd call her, she'd say "I'm doing well today, but yesterday was tough." I busted her on it at one point, noting that I'd called the day before and she had said the exact same thing.
