the only thing I could figure was that her finger was the thing in pain, but I was thrown off for two reasons:

1. where does the redhead/blond thing come in? I was trying to relate anything in the joke to a possible dye job or something like that - as in, could you hurt your figure dying your hair...

2. it's not funny.
