The hotel that I think we'll be staying in is just down the street from there...the Mayflower. We stayed there a few years back and while it is older, it's still in pretty decent shape, the rooms are huge by NY standards, it's relatively (by NY standards) inexpensive and the location can't be beat...it's on Central Park West. It's right next to the fancy Trump monstrosity...the International?

Do you have any other hotel recommendations instead?
