but other than that, everything is okay. It doesn't help that I feel like I'm drowning in paper and phone calls at work this week either!

First, good news that I don't think I've shared yet...We're pregnant again! Well, one of us is. Laura hits four months in a day or so...hopefully we're past the danger point. We had another ultrasound yesterday and things are looking great...got to see the little guy/girl scratching their ear and moving around a bit. Due date is December 2, but we're going to do a c-section the week prior...they tore her uterus last time so they don't want any labor to occur. We're pretty psyched!

As for my family meltdown...this time it was my sister causing the problems. Sloane, her husband Eddie and their daughter Monroe came to visit last Thursday night, leaving Sunday morning.

Well, some of you may remember Sloane from when we were moving to Maine...we had just signed a contract to sell our house and were driving to Maine to find a new house AND a job. The night before we left, Sloane calls up all hysterical and bent out of shape yelling at me telling me that I'd lost my mind, I was tearing the family apart, etc., bullshit, blah, etc. I finally just told her that we were leaving in the morning and that I wasn't going to have that conversation. Sloane also has pulled a similar crapfest with my brother when he flunked a class senior spring and found out a few days before graduation that he wasn't going to graduate then. Sloane is a bit of a drama queen, has an exceptionally heightened sense that she knows everything but at the same time has a deep seated inferiority complex, especially in regard to me. I was always the "golden child" while she was the bad girl.

Well, on Friday morning we took off in the rented minivan (so we could all be in the same car) to this small zoo about 45 miles away. Andrew and Monroe played just fine at the zoo...had a good time. In the car ride back...on a scenic route back up the coast...the problems started. Monroe fell asleep and after awhile, Andrew was starting to get bored. We had a 3 year old strapped in a car...driving for about an hour plus...and he wanted to talk to Monroe. So, like any mature three year old...he yelled for her. We tell him to be quiet...he is for a little while...then he grabs her arm. Sloane starts getting ALL stressed out that Monroe's nap is going to get interrupted....

Damn...sorry...I've really got to get a project done and get my ass home to do even MORE work tonight...so I'll leave with that cliff hanger. Maybe you guys can finish the story and see how close you get!
