Subject: Spidey 2 kinda sucked ...

... or at least the story did, being far too tedious and verbose. kids would (and did) easily get bored with this 127-minute gab-fest. i suppose it didn't help that Kirsten Dunst does absolutely nothing for me with her lumpy, common face and those crooked fangs of hers. i think she's just totally wrong for the character of the hip, smartass Mary Jane Watson, and that's coming from someone not a real big fan of Spidey in the actual comix. of course the special effects and fight scenes with Dr. Octavius and his arms were very im-ressive and exciting, just not nearly enough of that kind of stuff. in his early blather, Octavius also incorrectly credits Marconi with the 'discovery' of radio instead of Tesla, so i think i should be getting a no-prize for that!
