hey, coy -- do you know of Chip Kidd? I just bought a clock designed by him -- one of those big, round plastic thingies -- no biggie - but it was cool. It's basically a super closeup of Batman's face -- the mask plus white spots where the eyes, nose and mouth would be. The writing on it is simply, "If there is mystery, there is hope"

Bought it at a "Super Hero Supply Store" up the road from us in Brooklyn. The place is cool. It's actually a non-profit tutoring company -- the tutoring is in the back -- but the actual storefront is this super hero supply place -- not superhero lunch boxes and posters -- but full size capes, masks, grappling hooks -- "If a super hero needs it, we've got it." Very kitsch.
