Subject: I need some prayers!

My DH came home and after nearly half an hour of casual conversation, mentions that my Dad had to go to the hospital for pains in his arms. Daddy had a major heart attack 2 years ago and never really got all his heart function back. I may be selfish, but I just can't handle anything else. Two weddings and a funeral in little over a month is just about as much as I can take.

I wanted to post to the parenting board, but my browser "suddenly" doesn't like ivillage. I'm not doing a great job at dealing with loosing a 7th baby right now, and this on top of it is about to send me over the edge.

I need some "Hang in there" vibes.

Thanks!
Jenifer,
Mother of six earth angels and seven angels in Heaven.
I miss you all so much!

Jenifer, I'm so sorry that you'll having such a hard time. I'll remember you and your dad in my prayers. It's strange how the phrase 'endure to the end' is tossed about so casually by people without thought of how gut renching and heart renting it truly can be for many of us to actually do...but I know that it is possible... I, too have suffered the loss of many children and I know that where you're at right now is a very overwhelming place to be but hang on to what you know and surround yourself with those who love and support you...

[> Udate on my Dad -- Jenifer, 09:27:25 04/05/04 Mon

We married my brother off Friday. Whew! I just about slept through most of sat. and sun. trying to recover from two days of getting ready.

At the wedding/reception, my dad just about passed out on us. I finally got some info on what was going on. He'd started feeling dizzy and having these "almost passing out" spells, along with some aches, some of them being in his arms. He went to see 3 docs and had an ekg, etc. done to check on his heart, which they say is fine, but they don't know what is causing his current symptoms.

Hopefully he can get some rest and feel better. One thing they thought it might be was a viral inner ear infection.

I'm doing better. I'm trying to find my bearings, figure out how to deal with the new me, the after Anna me. It doesn't help that I'm getting these phantom kicks right at the point I would be feeling the baby move if she were still here. Thanks for the support. And thanks for all the prayers for my dad.
