Subject: doesn't dh get personal leave (m)
In reply to: lynece 's message, "Can I just vent about my DH" on 16:14:41 12/30/03 Tue

you know... the type I thought they legally had to give you to take care of a child or something. I am no expert on any of these things but it seems like he should be able to get the time off. I know my dh doesn't usually take much time off until he has to because he says it's money in the bank if layoffs ever come his way (well that of course was until my mom's offer to watch the kiddos which was a once in a lifetime offer).

As for doing everying... I bet you will become a master of prioritizing. For example, this past year we had church at 1 pm and we almost always squeeze in at 12:59. When in AZ, we went to our old ward that met at 8:30 and managed to be ready. We knew we had to get it done and didn't waste any time. We figured out the night before this and that and it helped. As for the teaching part I'm not so sure because I only taught 7-12 graders. But I do know that I did much better when I used what little prep time I had wisely. If I blew it I would have a box of stuff to take home (which of course I wouldn't work on), haul back, and feel frustrated over.

Good luck,

Heather

Ah why do men do this. Mine is right there with yours.
I know if I got a job it would be more like two full time jobs, one here at home and work. I will keep you in my prayers.

But know too that I will go with you if you keep your apt.
My son Jordan has a murmur too. I would be more than willing to go with you. Just let me know!
