I don't know what to call myself, heather 2 or just heath111. I just came over here myself and don't usually have a ton of time to post.

Our first little guy was s/b from placental abruption at 34 weeks just over 5 years ago. Like you, once they realized there was a problem it was too late and they just hurried me in to have a c/s to take some of the risks away for me since I was bleeding so heavily. We are lucky to have 2 little ones since and hope to try again this year.

I'll tell you that church was very hard for me for a while. For months I went to fast Sunday late because I couldn't bear to hear other babies be blessed. Luckily I was the primary chorister and didn't have to deal with RS and the babies there. I remember my primary pres asked me why we never sang I am a Child of God or Families Can Be Together Forever and I just broke down saying I couldn't sing them outloud because we used them at the funeral. It does get better. I sing those songs to my little ones now and we are happy because of their messages.

Your little one's name is so beautiful and I am sure that she knows how much you care for her.

Heather

[> Welcome Lauren, -- Heather S., 10:21:13 12/31/03 Wed

I am so sad to hear about your little Angel. I too have a hard time at church. I just sit and cry mostly.
I keep going but it is so tough.

We have had several losses, 6 in total now. I got married and over the course of 5 years had 3 mc early on, we finally got blessed with our Daughter Kennedy. (now 7) then I had another mc but this time at 15 weeks. I was totally devistated. We tried again and yet another mc.
Finally with the help of lots of medication Jordan made it to 7 months Gestation and spent some time in NICU but is fine today. We were told that I should have my tubes tied and not try again. When we went in for Jordans Emerg C the Dr. told me that I needed to do it. I just told her NO. She was a bit peved at me. I just wasn't ready for that. 3 years later suprise, I was preg. I went to the Dr. within days and all was well, my blood pressure was going up but still at 19 weeks all was going well. (I went on full bed rest with Jordan at 16 weeks) So we were just wating for the problems to start. Well at my 20 week visit, there was no heartbeat. It wasn't until he was delivered via C-section that we found out he had become tangled in his cord. Our little Noah will be our last.
This time I did have my tubes tied. I just cannot go through this loss again. Our little Noah was born on August 22nd 2003. We still feel that there is yet at least one more child for our family so we hope to adopt in the next few years.

Sorry we all have this one thing in common but I am glad that we are here for eachother!
Welcome Lauren,
Love,
Heather S.
