Subject: Sam and Jake celebrated their birthdays on New Year's Day....m

We called Jake, who is away at school, at the right time (his time) to wish him a Happy 16th Birthday. We are now counting the days off before he arrives home (the 31st of this month).

Sam celebrated his 3rd birthday the same day as Jake (Jake was born at 12:12am and Sam was born at 12:26pm) - he loved his cake this year and was totally thrilled when we sang to him. The other years, he has just sat and cried...

We had a quiet Christmas - it is still hard, even 4 yrs later, but I guess we just keep moving forward knowing that each day that passes, we are closer to joining Hannah in the eternities.

I've kept your babies in my prayers...
