So how long was this party for your little Hannah (or not so little anymore)? We are going to do Madeleine's first party this month... 8 little girls, art theme (since I found great art kits after Christmas at Target for party favors)... is an hour and a half too long? Thanks for the advice... Heather

The time flew by and it was 1:45 (party supposed to be over at 2)and we were just getting to making the smoothies and passing out cupcakes. The girls would have loved to have played for another hour but dh and I were exhausted. LOL

For a 4 year old I would definitley shorten it to an hour and a half, if not just an hour. Have a tv show or something to do while everyone arrives and then I would only have 1 activity or game before doing cake and ice cream and presents. It always takes longer than you think.

Good luck. I remember reading about her birth while back in PA while trying to survive Calista's pregnancy.

L.
