Subject: Two sick kids and two days missed from work, ehhh

Ok I am leaning again, My two kids are sick, I need some sleep and I am sure if I miss one more day I am going to be fired for sure. Jordan is coughing so bad that he throws up and Kennedy is throwing up, non stop. We have been to the urgent care for Jordan and now tonight when my husb comes home with the car we are off to urgent care again with Kennedy. Her throat is so very red! (my kids make some bad sick kids, whiney, ah!) I would rather be at work! I have done more laundry this two days than I have all month. I need a bath! Or a nap! or some sanity!!!

We had that virus go through our house and DH and I got it on the same day. Cleaning up after that is no fun!

BTW, I thought the family medical leave act prevented employers from firing parents who are absent because of sick children? I may be wrong, but I think it even covers regular doc visits too. I'm not saying it doesn't cause a strain at work, but if you don't take care of them, who will?
