Subject: Anyone doing anything fun for Valentines Day?

Well I am working and then cutting out early to go to an extended family picture.
There will be my parents and us 6 kids and all of our kids,
including my sisters baby that was born about the time Noah should have been. I haven't seen him yet and am a mess but I hope I can at least have white eyes for the photo. Guess I better bring the Visine huh. We all are spending the afternoon and eve at Grandmas house, it is her birthday on Monday and it is our gift that we (all 6 kids of hers) will be together with our kids for her big day this year. Should be a blast. My husband has made every excuse there is, he sure doesn't want to go at all!
Well I guess he might have an out if our kids are still sick, we will go smile for a picture then duck out with our sickies. I will let you know!

Hope you all have a wonderful Valentines day and more so Evening!

[> We have been so busy, but did take a little time out..... -- Jenifer, 12:35:52 02/15/04 Sun

We are worse than broke right now, so it had to be simple. We um, took advantage of some quiet time friday night and I had made some Snicker bar fudge for dH (and myself, of course)Other wise we were very busy with day to day stuff.

It was quiet, but nice. When DH has a job, he can splurge on me. Right now I hope to pay rent next month.

Heather, I hope tomorrow goes well. I had a friend whose baby girl was born less than a month after I should have had my twin girls. I first got to see her when she was about 5 months old. I just held her and held her, it was very theraputic. They kept asking me if I wanted to eat or put her down, I told them I just needed to hold her for a while. I gave her back eventually, it felt so good to hold her.

A year and a half later, though, no one remembered the connection between this baby and mine. This little girl's family came over to visit, we had a tiny rocking horse the little girl found to ride on. My Dh said she could take it home if she wanted to. My friend, with out thinking, said, "That's right, you don't have anyone that age." I never told her how bad that hurt, especially since I knew she would never had said that if she had remembered.

I hope you find the strength you need to make it through tomorrow.

Jenifer,
Mother to six earth angels and seven angels in Heaven.
Our newest angel left us Dec. 5, 2003.
We miss you Anna Marie!

[> Work -- Lauren, 15:19:24 02/15/04 Sun

Well, Doug got to close that night, as he did the week before on my birthday. So it's been a great week. I'm so bad, I don't ever go anywhere by myself and all the women I know are either really immature or married and pregnant or just had a baby. So while Doug worked I watched my friend's kids so they could go out. She had her 3rd a few weeks ago, the one I watched be born, and she decided to leave him with us, so it was quite a handful, but always good! so today is our day together! Hope everyone else had fun!
Lauren
