We have already talked to Ryan about colors, and he thinks it would be cool to have a blue or green one. He would probably prefer green, but I would suggest blue as it goes with more outfits that he has and matches his eyes! I guess we will cross that bridge shortly.

As for researching on the internet, I have done some of that, but there is only so much I can do. It is very complicated what each device can do, and I have no idea of the specific needs that Ryan has as far as decibal amplitude and adjustments. And then from there, I don't know what our insurance will pay for. So, I guess I just need to find a new audiologist (who isn't a doctor, and was so condescending to my dh who has had more schooling than her - showing him a diagram of the ear).

Anyway, thanks for the hugs. I really appreciate it. Oh and thanks for helping me to feel better about his Easter party.
