I personally love the spiral sliced ham sholders. Costcos have wonderful ones. I heat it per the package instructions, normally 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes per pound. Included in the ham is a sauce/topping packet, but personally we don't use it. I sometimes will put a little brown sugar/honey/mustard on it, but not always. I put int in a baking pan (8x8 or 9x12 depending on how big) and just toss it in the oven.

Last time I cooked a ham (a few weeks ago) I put it in the crockpot for 8 hours on low and that worked really well, it was a bonless ham. It was hot but the outside a little dried out I think if I were to do it again I wouldn't cook it quite as long maybe only 6 hours. And I don't think this would work for a sliced ham or at least not as well.

I would estimate a 10lb ham would feed as many people as 8/10, but if you want leftovers go for bigger. We are BIG ham people so I buy a 8-10 lb ham (bone included) for my family of 5. Also depending on your sides, you might not want quite as much.

HTH
Jackie
