I went through the same feelings when it was Grant's turn. I just wanted them to see the bright, loving, wonderful child that I do every day and I was scared that he'd have one of those "off" days at the wrong time! Laura said it very well... we always get nervous when we it comes to getting (what we see as) the best thing for our child. One thing I can recommend is to keep things light and fun for him until his assessment to get him in the best mood possible.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes!

Sherri
