Subject: Ugh, more detectives...

Just after Timothy came home this morning a local police officer and a detective "from the big city" stopped by. The female detective woke up Pas and took her to the car, supposedly for questioning. I woke up DH and he spoke with the officer. Then the officer left with Pas and a second female detective came in. Each of the detectives had to take statements from DH and me, well 1 for each of us. It took 2 hours and they asked all sorts of questions. We told them of our fear that Pas was suicidal and possibly a danger to others and that we would like for her to be admitted somewhere or go on a vacation for a couple weeks. Then 1/2 hr after they left the officer dropped Pas back at the house, didn't come in or anything.

We questioned Pas and she claims they just sat in the car here, then at the park. Nobody asked her any questions, except they showed her a picture of a blue 5 gallon pail and asked her if she recognized it. They had 3 photos from different views. They also had a lady from immigration in the car, but she only asked if Pas had any questions. I have no idea what they are up to, nor what the bucket thing was about. We don't have any 5 gallon buckets, and I can't think of seeing one anywhere.

What really irks me is they asked DH and I 2 hours of questions and Pas nothing? And at first it was the officer and a detective and then the officer says he has another detective in the car he is going to bring in. So after they are all in I ask jokingly if there is anybody else in the car, first it's two and then it's three... and they all say no, nobody else. Then I find out later that the immigration lady was in the car the whole time. And the nearest immigration office is a 3 hr drive from here, so she had to be here for a reason. If I was lucky it would have been to take Pas away, but I'm not so lucky lately so it's probably some new charge against DH.

Anyway... that's my update. Pas has been real sullen for the past 2 weeks, trying extra hard to not step on any toes.
