Ok, can I get some input here...

Nobody has responded to my post on making our own website (titled something about crazy idea). That's fine... but I just want to get your input on it.

Is it that it is too expensive? We can probably find a cheaper host, I just haven't been able to find a cheap and reliable one. Or maybe most people here just don't think we need our own website? Or is it something else? I'm just curious.

If we did get our own site, maybe we could figure out how to do the programming to make our OWN board, not use a free one. Then we could have a reliable board to call home, and people who left would always know where to find us. We could be jan98club.com or whatever we decided on. And there would be NO ads.

I think it's a great idea, but maybe I am missing something.

Any input?
