Alicia made a good point, but I don't think we can each have separate log-ins at this point.

I can set up a genral board password to read and/or write messages, but if I do that will prevent new members or lurkers from finding us. However, if I set up a password for writing only, and ask all people who want to join to send the appropriate info to me (or whomever), then we can send that person a temp password until we know she is 'reliable,' and then send the permanent one.

Also, if there is a problem poster, I could change the password and not give it to the problem poster. I can't imagine that would ever happen, but it might be nice to have the option. If we did this, we'd need to have a database of all posters and their e-mails to send out the passwords.

Opinions please...
