I have been watching the 2004 Tour de France, and can not believe the attention being given to the relationship with and to Cheryl Crow. It was bad enough that fame and all that goes with it took the place of Lance's family in his time and attention, so much so that Kristen could not take being virtually a single parent and person anymore, but now it is being thrown up to her by the media interviews, that Lance's new romantic partner is following him all over Europe. I am just sick of her being interviewed after everything he does and discussing what they do when they get up in the morning. I should think they would have more consideration for the wife they left out of everything, until the very last day when we got a glimpse of her and the children. Shame on you Lance for allowing this.
Just to point out some of the season-long cycling fantasy games you can play on the Web this year. You can register now and you’ll get an email telling you when it kicks off. Sadly, the most complete Fantasy Cycling League (http://www.ultra-sports.com/Cycling ) seems to have fallen into decay, and it’s already too late to register at Professional Cycling Game (http://home.online.no/~tveite2/index.cfm ) – but there’s lots more specialised Tour de France and Giro game. Hello Lance, I am a fun of yours from Romania,and last Year in December I,ve been diagnosed with uterin cancer.I am 32 years old and now after radiotherapy and a total hysterectomy the doctors told me i have a cervical mathastase,wich means a tumor by 8 cm unoperabile.I have problems with my husband too,he is here with me just because I am ill(he left me for another one).I am very upset with my situation and I need a friend,somebody to talk to.maybe you can tell me where you received treatment,maybe i can go there and find atreatment for my cancer.hope you read my mesage and send me an e-mail regards,Manu

My wife has a very aggresive form of folicular thyroid cancer. Her condition is getting worse. She has been treated with radiation, chemotherapy, and Thalidimide. Nothing seemed to effect the cancer. Is there anything out there that we could try, time is slipping,And I don't have a lot of confidence in her doctors. Is there anyone associated with your organazation that deals with Thyroid Cancer?

Dear Barbara We are writing you in hopes of your help for what seems to be a hopeless situation. It all started twelve years ago my wife and I have been hoping to conceive a child of our own, but to no avail. And so during that time we have had three boys stillborn, and one miscarriage. Finally two years ago July 6, 2001 we had a beautiful pre-mature baby girl, she was 1 pound 6 ounces at birth, she was announced dead on arrival. With the help of God the Doctors and Nurses, they were able to revive her. She then spent the following sixteen weeks in the intensive care unit at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. During the sixteen week period our child was severely cut on her right ear lobe causing it to separate. This was clearly a human error of negligence, and they even admitted to being at fault, but no one person wanted to take the blame or even explain how this event took place. We still to this day have not found out who that person is or what really happened! Since this unfortunate mishap, my wife and I have contacted several attorneys; none have been successful in building a solid case. It seems to us the hospital has most of the Florida attorneys under their thumb. And since this is the most highly decorated hospital in Pensacola, we feel that the lawyers are either bought out or even scared to take the risk of going against them. The claim is that there is nothing that can be done since the hospital showed heroism in saving the life of our child. So in other words we should over look the fact that our daughter‘s ear was literally cut in half by one of the staff members of the hospital three months after her birth. And also for them to even start a thorough negligence case, the base pay would be around 100,000 dollars. Our daughter is now going on two years of age and her ear remains the same as it did when it was first severed. We only have approximately seven months before the Florida statue of limitations will prevent us from filing a case against the hospital because of there wrong doing. Here is where we are hoping you will come in, by giving us a chance to tell our story on your show. Maybe then we can get the much desired help we so desperately need to ensure that this kind of behavior will never happen to us or anyone else again. I have a friend with cancer of the throat who is currently on radiation and chemo. If they can shrink the tumor enough the doctor will try surgery again. She has no insurance and is a single woman without many resources, just a lot of loving friends and family. Can the foundation help her?
I have a 2001 5200 in immaculate condition. It is a 54cm and it is a bit too big for me. I would like to find someone who might have a 52cm that would like to trade for my 54. I was in a retail store and the 20 something check out girl with the most remarkable eyes I'd ever seen had a scarf on her head to loosely disguise her recent chemo therepy. I was reminded that cancer slices through all walks of life including beautiful young girls. I wanted to say something, something to offer encouragement but not to be construed as a come-on. I'm old enough to be her dad. Should I have said anything or just acted like all was normal? Should I of whipped out an autographed copy of Lance's book and told her I had read it?(just joking) I'm not a survivor so there is no way I would even pretend to understand, but I can sympathize. What would a survivor like to hear?

I guess I have been too hard on the French for their lack of respect for Armstrong. I am not a big fan of the media here and realise that maybe we have been getting a slanted view on the situation. I am guilty of being interested in the Tour when an American is winning. After all, biking is just a way to stay in shape over here for the most part (sorry Owen!). That some guy won after facing death is a nice thing and I am proud that he lives on this piece of dirt where biking isnt that big a deal for the most part. I think I will go open a bottle of French wine now!

Hi - Lance's team initially has to work together but at some point each member becomes an individual in order to win. What is his strategy to being a team member and then becoming an individual participant without hurting his own team mates? How does he encourage his team mates to be individual winners as well?

I have heard that lance has been quoted as saying 'Mounatin Biking is harder then any stage in the tdf, this is the hardest thing i have ever done' after an american mounatin bike race. With Lance out of the Paris-Nice race with bronchitis, I just wanted to know if this is a concern to Lance and his fans. While Lance will be back on the bike in a week or so, Paris-Nice is the first major race of the year. Will Lance's absense at the Paris-Nice Stage Race have an effect on his ability to peak for the Tour de France? I think missing Paris-Nice is a minor setback because it is the first race of the year where Tour favorites will lay the ground work to find the magical form that could win the Tour de France. Trying to find fitness in June's Tour de Switzerland is futile and it just leaves riders flat for the Tour, like Bobby Julich. Julich had that aggrivating foot injury early in the season and his form never took shape. Is there a possibility for Lance to follow suit?
