For one thing- nobody else would want it, and I think that would make it easier to buy one for cheap money.

I drove one to an Xterra event one time, and I didn't mind the lower power one bit. And they got 25 MPG.

All I would want it for is the last half mile leading from the road to the trailhead. The groundclearence is great for what I would want it for.

And then to be able to park an old beat up SUV at the trailhead and not worry about it.

A beater that has good ground clearance in other words.
