Well I see Steve already answered your question about where I live. At least I didn't get the old "Vermont, what state is that in?"

And yes there is a fair amount of salt on the roads. I just hit 84,000 miles this week so it isn't on the road that often. Now if I park my X when it is wet there will be 4 puddles of rust, one at each corner. Last year the brake line rusted through, kind of disconcerting when you are pulling up to a stop light and the peddle goes to the floor! The back around the window is rusting through again and the bottom of each door is pretty rusted. At this point it is try and trade it this year or run it into the ground which is only a couple of years away.
