Great question. And you know, there are actually two versions. The one I posted is the *new* hatch tent. The old one was far more weird looking. (If anyone has a pic of the old one, please do post it.)

What Nissan hasn't done is to provide a photo of what it looks like on the INSIDE, which I would love to see. Or maybe there is such a photo, but I haven't seen it.

I don't think there are a lot of people out there who have one of these, but I would love to hear about it if someone has one or has seen one in action. I think it's a very interesting looking piece of gear.


I've gone camping with an Xterra, and one time it rained all day and I wound up sitting in a chair under the back hatch. That wasn't bad at all, and I wonder how one of these tents adds to the Xperience.
