Subject: Warranty Spam!

I have a 2000 Xterra which I bought in January 2007. I bought the extended warranty which is expiring/expired. I cannot believe the amount of spam I'm getting for this. I have gotten dozens of letters and phone calls offering to extend my warranty. It seems that Nissan sold my name? Count one strike against Nissan.

Another strike was my dealer. We agreed on pricing over the phone - SIX HOURS before I arrived on site. My financing through NMAC was also pre-approved days before. It still took me three and a half hours to get out the door with my X! Some of that was their trying repeatedly to shove some $700 undercoating down my throat. They had three different folks push it on me, including the finance guy. They sent me off with a "when Nissan asks you about my service, say you were happy!" Grumble. I shoulda bought from Steve. :)

Thankfully, I've been happy with the vehicle itself! Well, the rear gate lifters did give out rather quickly and the local dealer ordered the wrong replacements, then wouldn't take them back. So, now, we have a broom handle in the back. :(
