Haven't got the skid plates yet. Spoke to the dealer today and they told me the off road package plates for the 4wd should work on the 2wd so I'll get them soon. Did head out this past weekend on some hills and trails I found. The 2wd crawled up some hills I estimate to be between 40 to 45 degrees without any slippage of the tires. Even the electronic slip didn't kick in. The terrain in this part of Texas is clay and was dry. The stuff is very hard and has alot of friction for the tires when dry. Wet, I wouldn't have a chance on the hills and ruts as its slick and packs your tires quickly. The vehicle did very well for a 4x2. Ran into a couple of guys on Honda atv's. They were a bit surprised to hear I had an open differential in this terrain. I guess as long as you know the limits of the vehicle your ok. Had to keep the tires on the high lanes of the ruts. Worked pretty good as long as you didn't slide down. Won't worry about it after I get the under armour on it. Also, been enjoying it on the road. The 0-60 mph is like 7.6 seconds. Dusting alot of Ford, Chevy and Dodge V8 suvs from the redlight. They're heavy and have like a 9.0 second 0-60 mph rating except for the Dodge hemi. About equal here.
