UP AND COMING SIMS -If you have good taste in art, more than likely you are a Herendez. This creative family has contributed to several works of art around the hood-including the modern art musuem downtown, several original artworks and even television as matriach-Christine was a writer for Pahala Shores and is a contributing writer with Suburb Sim. Miyera had been contributing locally with novels and even writing the hood newspaper. Future hier Luis even has plans to go into fashion design. We look forward to more works of art from this family. SNOWFALL EXPECTED TO CEASE SOON -The weather report has predicted that snowfall that recently coated Apple Valley will stop this weekend and blades of grass should be visible soon as spring makes its way. RESPONSE TO CALL TO POPULATE -Apple Valley has seen a recent increase in the number of births as well as immigrations into the hood-keep up the good work! RETIRMENT HOME PROPOSAL SHOT DOWN -As many elders have enjoyed lengthened lives, they are began to demand a retirement home to spend thier last days. The Hood Council reviewed the proposal and determined that there were not enough elderly sims to create a need for the establishment. DOWNTOWN RESIDENTAL LOTS TO BE OFFERED THIS MONDAY -Downtown residental lots will go on sale this Monday for all families. Lots start at §15,000 and include a three bedroom/two bath condos with great views of downtown and rooftop gardens as well as 1960's inspired bungulows.
