 This is how Simbuquerque Hood has planned to run the Food Expo:

Food Expo 2006 will be opened with a BBQ Contest event. Sims who want to participate in the Food Expo will set up the barbecues and prepare their best BBQ recipie. We plan to have three judges who are Sims in the Culinary career to decide who has the best tasting food. The first place winner will recieve §3,000, second prize will be §2,000, third place will be §1,000. (Note: To recieve your Simoleans use the "kaching" method. Use it once for 1,000 twice for 2,000 and three times for 3,000.)

Another planned event is for different Sims participating in the Food Expo to showcase any food they invented. The participating Sims serve their food and the other Sims would go around tasting it. If the person showcasing the food would like it, the food could be on the menu of a restaurant a local in Simbuquerque is planning to open. That is only if the food inventor wants it.

A special thank you to Miss Gretta Medenhall(sp?) for this fabulous idea. Celebrity chefs (or sims in the Culinary career) could be in a celebrity chef cook-off.

Maybe we could have a part of the expo that would showcase candies.

My idea for the closing event could be that Simbuquerque local Sandy Bruty could announce the closing of our event and hand out recipies for her famous desserts.

Remember - these are just plans. The Food Expo doesn't start until June 10th. We can discuss these plans. You can even give us your idea. But whatever plans we have by June 10th will be in the Expo.
