HISTORICAL SOCIETY HARD AT WORK
-Community Director, Avery Wilsonoff, confirmed that the Historical Society welcomed two new members (Cassandra Grey and Rayne Wilsonoff) and that the group is hard at work repairing and connecting the family tree information. As a result of this project, the group is looking for information from other hoods with families that can trace thier roots to Apple Valley/Greymount residents (see Easier Living post).

SUMMER FAIRE A SUCCESS
-To celebrate summer, Apple Valley held a weeklong celebration, Summer Faire, packed with events for all ages. Congratulations to Zac Burrego for winning an Octi-Aqua-Squirter at the Child's Play event at The Toy Shoppe. Also to the winners of $100 of free fresh food from Farmer's Market: Shawn Marsh, Rayne Wilsonoff; Pablo Herendez
