Both Bart Gobelin and Agatha Brybrey have reported they do very well after their first 2 semesters. Ms Brybrey studies Physics, while Mr Gobelin studies Philosophy. Also young Mr Gary Snakespeare was originally on the group, but he was refused by the university due to poor public school performance. There will soon be a new chance for 3- local teens to go to University. While the Hood Council is fine tuning the procedure, please contact Mr Simbille Ballong when/if you are 20-25 simdays old and like to go. * Many families have complained they no longer want to wear career clothing, and some employers have refused to pay a bonus when the Sim gets a promotion. Locals have also complained they hardly can remember their past. All is set in connection with the University deal and we know that Maxis scientists and community experts are working on the matters this very moment. * There has been numerous births and weddings lately, and we also experience the predicted elders boom. We are glad that Maple Inn now serve as a retirement home for elders. To stay on top of all changes check our local info page that is linked from the top menu (HOOD) * Test Lane, the very first street to be occupied by testsims after the TS2 transformation, is currently having the Hood Council's attention. Test Lane will be reorganized to be Simmerville's district for new households, being local sons and daughters or immigrants. There will be a limit to how long a family can reside those houses (most likely 15 simdays), and there will also be a new, simple, shopping center near by. * A new Immigration center is due to be erected on New Simmer Lane. It will be combined with a bus station, and Simmerville will now accept one immigrated household every 5 days. If you are interested in moving to Simmerville, please await details that will be posted in a seperate article on the main page.
