 To all Simmervillians,

* THE NEW HOOD COUNCIL *

I, Steven (Briggon) Brybrey, am the new Business Community Right holder and your new spokes sim. I am 28 simdays old and was recently graduated with a degree in Economics. The other 4 Hood Council members are:
Remington H. Beartop, culinary
Sue Valentino, Law Enforcement
Rispella M. Light, Medicine
Agatha Brybrey, Science

For the record I want to add that Mr Beartop actually got the highest community score, but because he will turn 55 simdays old today (local simday 31) he desided to be just a regular Hood Council member and leave the spoke sims position to the runner up - me. You can find out who the other Community Right holders are here.


* MRS MARTA MERVIL FOUND DEAD *

Marta Mervil (62) was found dead late last night (day 30), at the Mysterious Shed lot at the outskirts of Mervil Farm. The lot is owned by Angela M. Gobelin, but was vacant. The case is still investigated. Her death causes a sudden switch of heirs. Egoon Mervil (58) (oldest son from Mrs Mervil's dead husband's 1st marriage) has inherited the entire Mervil family goods and his family of 4 has already moved into the Mervil Farm.


* ADJUSTED RULES FOR ATTENDING UNIVERSITY *

To get accepted for the University, a teen must:
* Be 23-25 simdays old (on the day of freshman year)
* Have 15 skillmarks or more
* Have a scool grade of D- or better
* Have scholarship of more than §500
* Origin household must pay §1000
* Graduates are rewarded the amount of §4000 multiplied with their final GPA from the hood. In addition they will get about §5000 from the Simmerville House's cash balance if they stay there during their 3 last years.


* LOCAL FEE CANCELLED *
We no longer charge §1000 when a household moves into a nw address.


I hope for a good Age of Pleasure, and that the new Hood Council will satisfy us all! More detailed plans for the future will be posted shortly.
