Hi Louise

We have an 18 year old gelding called Comet that we have to leave behind when we move interstate. He is a liver chestnut in butterfat condition due to abundant food & lack of work.
Comet was born on our property as Hayleys comet passed over in 1986.
His mother was part Arab/part Quarterhorse & his father a beautifull large Stockhorse Stallion.
Comet has been ridden but not for some years and would need some retraining to get him to be easily caught. He will come to us if we have a bowl of molasses or a mango in hand but is not easy to catch & halter. Once he has the halter on he is quite manageable but requires an experienced handler due to his size strength and long term freedom roaming his paddocks.
We would like him to serve out his retirement in peace with a good family.
Comet has spent his entire life in the Gympie area and has not had any problems with ticks.
Should you be interested in comet we can send more info & photos.
Best regards,

Ron Broome
