Looking for a home for an ex-rescue that I have rehabilitated, due to the fact that I am relocating and cant take him with me.
'Major' is a bay 17hh Standardbred gelding who was retired to me in very poor condition, with a back injury. His weight and health are now good, and I have done a lot of ground work with him, which he enjoys. Unfortunately his back condition has become chronic due to neglect by his past owners, and as far as we know he was never saddle broken, although kids have sat on him - so he can not be ridden. Maybe with further rehabilitation he could be driven at some stage, but unlikely. I would prefer him to go to an experienced home as a companion horse/pet only.
'Major' has a lovely temperament and can be handled by children.
This horse has a parrot mouth, therefore will require supplementary feeding.
