A white wolf walks on to the field and deposits two pups on the ground and watches them one last time before walking awat.The two small pups start to roll around in the grass, not noticing that they are all alone. When they finally look up and notice thier mother is not there they start to look around franticlly. Not finding her the white one starts to cry. "Don't worry sis she'll come back!" The black one says. The white female pup stops crying and looks toward her brother. "Promise?" Not knowing what to say to her the black one doesn't say anything.The two siblings lay down and look around as the white pups eyes fill with tears.

~The black one stands up.~ Are you nice because if you arn't we can't go with you. I mean what if mommy comes back? And what if we go with you and you turn out to be mean. And...~ The black wolf didn't finsih because the little white one walked over and clamped his mouth shut with her own. Turning back toward the wolf she says:~ We could go with you but what if mommy comes back...? ~Her eyes fill with tears at the thought of her mother.~

You can choose which one you like, or you can choose a different name. If she doesn't come back, will you consider coming back with me?

All right you can stay. ~Hasbro grudgingly says,~ And you can call us that if you want. I would like Hasbro. ~He grins idiotically at his new name.~ I want Journey! ~The white one quips in.~ They both lay down and curl up together and take a rest...

3 HOURS LATER:
~Hasbro got up and shook himself off.~ I guess shes not coming back.~He smiles sadly.~ Can we go with you? ~The young wolves look up at Keelas pleadingly.~ Pretty please? ~Journey says.~

(Hasbro is a mature for a puppy but sometimes his playful side kicks in. Journey is the playful one.)
