Subject: homicide by knife

I am looking for information regarding the psychology of homicide by knife. Ten years ago two young men working in a West Coast Video store here in my hometown were viciously slashed to death by an unknown perpetrator. The motive was unclear and the crime remains unsolved. Can anyone point me in the direction of somwwhere I can go to perhaps gain some insight into a perpetrator who commits a crime in this manner? Thank you.
