Wow thanks Paul you are now considered my bestest new friend :). I have contacted Steve Doel in the past and he did indeed confirm that we were related, him being a cousin of my father. I have got a fair few marriage certificates etc recently as this family is from my fathers side of which little is known. There are so few hickeys in wales that i feel sure we are related somehow. if yuo sent a email to me on carlthetaff@hotmail.com ill post over the certificates ive got and eerything i have on the family. Ive also got a photo of William Edgar Harris Jones with his wife Elizabeth Hickey (better knownas Nellie or even tiggy)

Jones of Abertillery
William Jones married Nellie Hickey. William worked as a Foreman in the Tin Works in Abertillery.
The family lived at 99 Glyndwr Street, Abertillery.
