I as very impressed with the new book of Abertillery . Abertillery was our stamping ground way back before the second war . I can remember the day when Woolworth's opened their shop with nothing over 6 pence , a pair of daps were a shilling a pair . One wonders how ever the big 32 seater buses managed to pass one another in the narrow streets ,it looks as if they are still as narrow.
We who are expats were enjoying the I remember that shop or that house . Keep up the good work , the valleys have been the back bone of the Homeland Cymru am byth Gwenllian
