"Tyleri", I believe, is the welsh spelling of "Tillery". According to Page 8 of "The Abertillery Group of Parishes, Parish Profile" published by the Diocese of Monmouth there are two meanings for the word "tillery":
"1. The house of St. Eleri and
2. The house of Eleri (also, sometimes known as Meleri), grandmother of St. David."

Tyleri comes from the Welsh word Telor meaning mellifluous/warbling and so the Afon Tyleri (tyleri river) was thought to be a warbling/singing brook. Tyleri/Tylery or Teleri should be the correct form. Tillery is an English mispelling from the late 1800s. (NT) -- David, 22:36:25 02/28/06 Tue
