Personally I think it would be the best thing Tesco's could do is to close and let Morrison's take over, the shelves are always empty and if there are any special offers they have not restocked the shelves so you tend to miss out, I have emailed their head office about this also others have told me the same that they have complained and only to be told that they were 'sure it was just a one off' and that there was no problems, they must be joking, maybe their management team at their head offices should try and shop at the Abertillery branch, sure the staff are really friendly and very helpful but that's no good when there are a lot of goods missing of the shelves. Sometimes if the girl doesn't turn up for work on the 'meat' counter the oven isn't turned on so you can't get a cooked chicken, that's what I was told one day when they didn't have any available. When a few of the deep freezers were empty I asked for an item and one of the staff said that the boy who fills the freezers was afternoons and he hadn't come in yet and that was in the morning when I had asked, so the freezers remained empty until the afternoon shift arrived. There are loads of items missing off the shelves and not restocked straight away, in other branches they have loads of choice but not down there apparently it's a Tesco's metro.
I would gladly see it closed and get something else there instead.
Sarah
